It’s officially summer, which means beach days, bathing suits and a glass of crisp rosé. But sometimes we like to have something a little more refreshing than alcohol. I know, crazy right?! Today we are sharing with you our absolute favorite summer drink, Rosemary Watermelon Lemonade.
This beverage will keep you cool on a hot beach day and looking great in that favorite summer dress. No concentrates or high fructose corn syrup in this refreshing drink.
Rosemary Watermelon Lemonade
So ready for this super simple drink..
3 cups of seedless watermelon chunks
1 cup of fresh squeezed lemon juice ~6 lemons
3 TBS honey
3-4 sprigs of fresh rosemary
4 cups of cold water
4 packets of Stevia in the Raw Sweetener
First, place your rosemary in a glass bowl and add 2 cups of boiling water. Add your honey and mix well. This creates an amazing honey rosemary infusion. Allow to sit for about 30 minutes.
Now purée your watermelon while your honey and rosemary is sitting.
Add your watermelon to whatever pitcher you decide to show off your beautiful drink. Add your fresh squeezed lemon juice and remaining 2 cups of cold water.
When you honey rosemary infusion is done, strain out the rosemary and add the infusion to your pitcher. Add stevia if desired and mix well. Adjust to your liking
Serve over ice and add a sprig of rosemary and lemon slice for garnish
