So something pretty amazing happened this past weekend… We had a girls’ day out sans children. Sometime you just need a day off!
We got into Alex’s SUV, blasted some Lupe Fiasco, and headed to Orlando. But what would a trip to Orlando to explore be without a cute outfit? So we looked to one of our favorite trendy online boutiques to help us find the perfect outfit.
First, I have to take a moment to tell you about how much I love this off-the-shoulder top from PinkBlush. I wont lie, when I first got this top I totally had a moment where I thought what are the odds of my toddler pulling this thing off me? Guess what? That is totally not possible. This top is such nice quality and the cinching around the shoulders is super sturdy. So, no need to worry about any slipping. Truth be told it can also be worn up on the shoulders some, which is also a great option to have.
The blue and white plaid pattern is classic and it has bell sleeves. My absolute favorite detail is the raw edge hem!
The striped lace-up dress Alex received had the prettiest colors. It’s blue and white stripes but with thin gold stripes as well. It has a lace-up detail on the side with a gold bead on the end which is our favorite part. I also like that it’s lightweight but also lined to prevent any sheerness.
Our Favorite Spots in Orlando.
So now onto Orlando..
We don’t make it to Orlando too often because well #momlife and a baby that hates his carseat. So we knew that we wanted to go check-out some new places on our ‘Momma’s Day Off’ adventure.
Gypset was our first stop and let us tell you, it did not disappoint! We’ve been eyeing their Instagram for months now and we were excited to finally see their line in person. This little mobile jewelry boutique is beyond gorgeous. The floral wallpaper, the huge wicker chairs, and don’t forget their total Boss Babe owner, Sam (#goals).
It was their opening weekend in their new location and they were serving mimosas (could this boutique get any better?!) So naturally we had one while we shopped. Alex bought a gorgeous beaded bracelet and Chanda found a perfectly simple gold choker.
We then swung by The Guesthouse and shared a delicious bottle of Rosé from Oregon. This little bar makes us so happy. They list some of their cocktails on the back of a picture to start, the front of the bar is lined with gorgeous plants and tables with palm tree printed pillows. Obviously the best part, the incredible cocktails. Go check them out on Instagram just to see how amazing it is there.
After The Guesthouse we stopped into Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods on our way home. Seriously, my two favorite stores. Grocery shopping without children gave us so much joy it’s ridiculous. But we know you other mommas can relate!
And that was our ‘Momma’s Day Off’ trip. Jewelry, Rosé, PinkBlush, Trader Joe’s, and Whole Foods.. Basically the greatest day!
We also want to mention our lovely photographer, Lucy. We had such a fun time working with her. Go check her out at Lucero Lora!
Thank you PinkBlush for sponsoring this post. As always, opinions are 100% our own.
